I guess thats a difficult question to answer but I'll ask it just the same :p

My budget is $100 or less and I'd also be interested in a $100 or less smaller printer that can do 4x6's. I'm buying this for someone who like photography, doesn't really take the greatest care of things (hence the lower budget) and might be encouraged to do more photography if they had a simple setup to start off.

Does such a setup exist? Any advice appreciated. :D

B&H has several cameras for under $100, including the Canon A470 for $89.95 and free shipping. (URL Below)

I have a HP Photosmart A532, 4x6/5x7 printer that prints makes photos. I paid $99 for it at Walmart.

Thanks for the replies,

I did have a look at the A470 and is really what I was looking for. The printer... well it has me a bit concerned that if I buy too cheap of a printer it will be one of those deals where its better just to buy a new printer instead of replacement inks. I don't want to spend the money on a nicer one if I'm not sure it would get used. I dont think sending print out will work for this person. They would really like see almost instant results if I'm judging correctly. Guess the cheap route is the way to go :p

Although I do like the idea of not getting a printer and putting the extra cash towards a nicer camera I'm just afraid this person will pretty much trash the first few camera's until maybe.... just maybe they begin taking care of it. Then again I'm so opposite of that. I guess I think everybody should take care of there stuff :p

I wasn't thinking of printing in quantity when I suggested the little HP printer. Sending out is much cheaper. I can get 4x6 prints locally for 19 cents, as where the printer costs about 30 cents each, which I don't consider too expensive for printing up a quick 4x6 or 5x7 when you want it NOW! ;)

For my stuff I like having a printer. Sometimes my end results are unexpected even when tryin to be careful. So I end up printing out a few versions. :p
