So, I was messing around this weekend in downtown Atlanta taking night shots from our hotel room balcony. The wife loves this shot and wants to get it blown up and hung on our wall. Does anyone notice anything jumping out at you on the shot or do the colors look off? Thanks in advance for any comments!

Info on the shot if anyone is interested:

75 sec exposure
f/16
ISO 100

This looks pretty cool to me! While it seems like your horizon is straight, the tallest building leans slightly and it slightly bothers me. Maybe try rotating the photo, like, 2 degrees?

I like the conversion. Nice sky, too!

Nice. I'd like to see the color version.

At this size the only thing I can see that needs fixing is what lindsay pointed out.

You know what jumps out at me? There's no wreck stopping traffic for five hours on the interstate. Happens almost everyday, anytime of day. Oh, yeah, the picture looks great!

Interesting shot. I like how there is some space between the buildings, roads, trees, to me this gives the juxtaposition a nice open look. The only thing that you might want to try and do is see if you can recover some detail on the top of the tallest building. Otherwise it looks wall worthy to me. ;)

If I had to say there was anything that jumped out at me...aside from this being a great shot, is that I wish there was a little more contrast in the freeway area's, or lit area's for that matter.

I agree with seeing the color version and more contrast.
Great shot!

Here is the unedited color version. I'll try messing around with the contrast again and see if I can get that building a little straighter. Thanks for all the comments!

Oh, as far as the wreck goes, I'm really wondering why there isn't one also. This was taken about 30 min after the fireworks downtown and thousands of cars were headed back home.

Also, here's the daytime version of the shot as well.

I agree about the horizon and trying to get the detail in that building. If you shot RAW, maybe you can dig back into it a bit. The only thing I like better about the color version is that you can see the light trails more easily. Also, maybe it's the posting quality, but the 1st version you've got some graininess in the top right corner. Pretty sweet shot though...what hotel is this from?

Sadly the top of that building was pretty much nothing but a lighthouse without the surrounding water. I've messed around with it for a while, but can't get anything out of it.

This was taken at Twelve Hotels off of W. Peachtree St. twelvehotels.com (centennial park location). Every room has a balcony, so there really wasn't a bad view anywhere. We were on the 15th floor.

Here's a slightly edited version. Made the building as straight as I could go and messed with the contrast and tones a bit.

I really like the shot as well! The first thing that stuck out was the lean of the tallest building. The building looks pretty straight in your latest edit.

I agree with your lady, this one deserves to be mounted on the wall. Great shot!!
