I went with some people to a really cool location with some big windows providing a lot of natural light. Here are a few of the results. Please C&C.

I like #2 a lot. The pose and the processing rock, but don't quite seem to match the expression on her face. However, the expression works for her, and somehow fits into the shot.

I might suggest that when she's looking away from the lens, not having her always with the eyes all the way to the side; leave a bit of white on both sides of the iris.

Yeah, I agree that her eyes are too far to the side. Unfortunately there were about 6 of us with cameras, so it was kind of hard to get her looking right where I wanted.

was this a class or seminar? 6 cameras.. you guys were the paparazzi.. ha ha

i like the mail box texture.. don't like arm pit shots.. but this one you got a way with it..

chair shot is a good pose..

natural light is good but still doesn't fill in the eyes..

what i would have done is brought a silver relflector if you are going to shoot this far in tight., put the reflector on her lap to bounce some fill in the eyes..

that is if you want to work to get a great photo.. that is the difference between good and great photo.. just that little extra detail..

all in all good work..

Yes Phamster, it was a class of sorts. And I agree that a reflector could have helped out here.
