The lighting looks really nice, and the girl is definitely a cutie!
But, for me at least, the setting of the couch, with the background walls, and windows, and clutter takes them from portraits to more of a snapshot feel, even with such great lighting :(

Very nice job.

thanks i try very hard on every shoot.. the lighting part of it took the longest to set up and fine tune. then snapping away is the easy part

you will love your bees, i had used it in a light rain fall and it was totally fine.. thought not recommended. ha ha.. get the beauty dish with your bee.. it is my favorite modifier next to my westcott 28. which works with the bees too.

I dont like the first one really. Your lighting is nice and editing looks good. The shots with her eye contact are great. She has beautiful eyes that really connect with the viewer.

Those are really nice. The detail in some of them is really amazing.

Sorry Pham! Not "just snapshots" because your lighting is really good, but for me the setting just makes them have that "pics taken at home" feel. It's too bad it was raining outside! It's just that on the couch, with all the stuff going on, and her looking away in a lot of them just gives them that "non-portrait" feeling. Not trying to be mean though, just hopefully next time you can control the setting a little more - some homes are very hard to work in!!

Thanks for the modifier pointers. This helps me, actually. I'm trying to piece together a "build-your-own" package and I've been really indecisive about my modifiers! So, your recommendation is well appreciated!
