Found some Canon style red card while cleaning up :) Thought I would muck about. Then got annoyed that catchlights on lenses are a pain to nail on a 135L so I came up with another new wallpaper.

Mate, I see your idea, however it doesn't work for me.
The reflections in the lens are too confusing, and it doesn't obviously look like a lens.

Perhaps a little (and not much) angle on the shot would help.

If I could see a clearly defined umbrella in the glass it would work better.

HTH.

I must admit I was going to comment at first, Mitesh, but thought I will do it later, Mainly I love the concept, It is Loud Bold and a statement, but the lens does not stand out to be what it is, as for the flare, again, I am not sure it is suited to the image, unless the flare is a distinct image with in itself, but I got to say the original concept is great, don't like the top bottom white border though, just feel it is not needed the red is so powerful, it weakens it with the borders.
I think my main problem is I don't understand what you are really trying to portray.
BUT, if I could clearly see, Say a Canon Lens, and the glass portrayed an image that was to show it was a Canon lens, it would be great as an advertisement for Canon advertisement
My opinion though :)

Photographic Images on Brett Butler (external link) px500 (external link) & Flickr (external link) Some Canon Bodies , few blackish lenses, A dam heavy black one, couple dirty white ones, a 3 legged walking stick, a mono walking stick, and a bag full of rubbish
And Still Learning all walks of life, & most of all Photography.
