OK...if you are talking about the flies that buzz around your head...you can try a mist of vinegar on your skin..or they make a sticky patch that you can put on your head cover that the flies stick too..when it gets full..just put another one on...google "old woodsman" fly dope..i think they have them on their site

why is it every time I go out to take photos of landscape or fields . Some how 1 or 2 horse flies all ways seem to find me and will not leave me alone.:mad::mad::mad: Really hard trying to compose a good photo and having a horse fly dive bombing me. lol. And to make it worse they follow me. Is there any spray out there that I can spray on me to keep them away.

Thanks jay

You might think about giving up the cologne or body spray you're using... ;)

They have those new off bug spray repellant things now that you can attach to yourself and it turns on a little fan. You could attach one to your camera and if it doesn't work you can tell nosey people its an accessory for your camera :p

I find deer flies to be more of a problem.
For them I use.........Don't laugh...Vicks vapor rub, Put a dab behind your ears etc.

It's not 100% but IMHO it cut's down on there #'s....Course there's a few that appear to like the stuff.
