Remember, if you use photoshop you can open jpegs in the raw editor and have the same sliders/selections to work on the images as you do the raw file..the only difference is the selections for the white balance but you can select AUTO and that does fine for me..I do shoot raw sometimes but I prefer jpeg.

I have saved the same jpeg file up to 10 times with no noticeable degradation in the image, even in a 16x20 enlargement there are no noticeable artifacts so if you want to shoot jpeg don't let the naysayers fool you.

of this thread that illustrates easily seen information loss in a web jpeg shot in the camera & one derived from a RAW file. I was surprised!
