Florida Sunset

Although I may like this shot that I just took from my backyard, I would like to get some critique. We all need opinions from others to improve our future shots.
I will appreciate your critique and comments.
Shot with Sigma 70-300mm tele lens, at 92mm, F/4, Shutter 640, ISO 100, no tripod

Although it's shot at iso 100 it looks quite noisy. Or is this jpg compression?

The clouds are nice, but not that nice that you can afford not using a subject in this picture. That is what i'm missing.

It is a shame that we need to compress photos for critiques to such a degree. I shoot at 3880 pixels and in order to bring the posting down to be accepted by the system, I have to resize them down to under 900 pixels. I wish there was a better way to avoid the automatic rejection by the posting system.
My main objective on this photo was to show the unusual formation and mute colors after a Florida rain storm. Thank you for the comments.

How are you re-sizing them? There's ways to get good pictures even though you're using smaller files.

you can use flickr (or some other site ie photobucket)to upload and link up to it.

on the image, it would have been better if there was a background/foreground subject, just to give direction/object to the picture.

Mostly I use ACDSee Pro 2.5 or Photshop Elements. Use Image Resize and reduce its size. One of the problems is that the algorithm used by the posting process is different than the one used by these programs. In the majority of the resizings, the posting process assumes a lager size than the one calculated by the two programs listed above.
