pretty good, just watch out for the Shadow side of cars compared to the Sunny side... and your reflection which i didn't notice in the shots.

Equipment: Canon PowerShot A650IS (semi retired) and Canon Powershot G10 (primary) and Rebel XT 350D w/18-55mm kit lens and Quanterey 18-200mm-- www.youtube.com/alexander1485 (external link) (has links to some of my pictures on the main page)

I'm guessing you are saying its better to shoot the sunny side?

I can see in pic 3 where the sun totally washes out the rest of the picture (but it was needed to take the picture with the reflection of the other car in it. the other car is also my gf's dad's so I thought it was neat to see one car inside the other...

And ya, definately tried to minimize me being in any pictures (i take them, i dont like being in them ;)) I did just notice my gf's dad in the first picture in the reflection of the car pointing something out to someone at the show. :)

Thanks for the suggestions though :)

Rad always says that. My mother used to tell me to always shoot with the sun behind me, too. All the shots of my 4th grade friends had these tiny, squinty eyes. :D

Outdoor car shows are pretty much a crapshoot. Best results I've had come from waiting 'till late in the show when (hopefully) the lighting is better & some cars have left giving you more room to shoot.

You already read them?
