After watering our garden I caught this little guy all drenched hanging on to the edge of a hosta leaf drying off. I couldn't resist a quick portrait shot. It's a three shot stack at 5X.

I also experimented a bit with a 3D image of the same guy. It's my forst 3D so any tips on getting a better shot would be appreciated. The image has a 5mm separation taken at 5X. I can get the 3D thing to happen but it takes some doing.

If you focus between the two pictures and cross you eyes. Then slowly let them uncross until you see a thirs image sort of form in the middle. If you concentrate on that image it will sort of snap in. It's my first attempt at 3d so clearly need work, but if you can get it, the 3d is visible.

I found this website that describes how to view a sterograph better than I just did.

Good ones - the 3-D works pretty well but technically you have a windows violation- the bug is touching the frame. There is a prog called sterephotomaker (freeware) which is useful for aligning stereos but you really need a pair of anaglyph glasses to do the alignment easily.

Thanx Brian, I'll give stereophotomaker a go. I'm assuming that this is the one your talking about?

Yes that's the one.
load a pair of pics - check which way round they are because to do the alignment you actually need them the correct way round (ie parallel stereo) do the alignment (Easy alignment) then swap the pics over and perhaps add a border (makes viewing easier).
