Quantum Turbo not working at all

So I haven't used my quantum in about 3 or 4 months. I had a shoot yesterday, so I charged it for about 5 hours. Get to the shoot, set everything up, and the yellow light wont go on. I take the plugs out, wait abit, and still nothing. I recently replaced the battery with a new one from batteries plus. It did work when I last used it.

I've got the identical problem! Hopefully someone will have a simple explanation.

Why not take it back to Batteries Plus, the new battery could have a bad cell and it won't charge up all the way.

Yes, ancient thread. but I thought I would add the comment that earlier this year, I had to do my SECOND new battery installation in my Quantum Turbo, which I purchase back in the early 1990's. Every 15 years ain't bad, better than NiMH cell failure and needing to buy a new set every 3-5 years.
