Hi guys,
Went to this event, thought I needed practice and an excuse to get out.
Most shots with the 5D and 100-400mm, some with the 50D and 24-70mm.
IS turned off to speed the AF.

Hope you like at least the odd one. Closest I can get to real racing here in CH.
C&C welcome, but not mandatory. It was a good exercise in panning.

It's a good effort, but not perfect. The picture's look a littlebit washed out. I would try enhancing the contrast to really make the colours of the cars stand out in the pictures.

Great series! The Lanica has been my favorite for as long as I can remember. The images are strong, but try to add a little sharpening in PS.

Thanks guys

Yes, they can seem a little washed out, as it was going from very bright sun, to cloud cover in patches, so playing around to get best compromise.
They have been sharpened in PS, but they do lose a little when compressing for the web. The full files are much better :-)

Backgrounds are distracting, but guess thats whats there.
Well taken shots, like the single seater best ,but do lack punch and do appear a bit washed out on my monitor.
