Here's a shot of the flowers on our back fence. I tried to create a painterly effect and IMHO, I pulled it off. What's the verdict?

Brypan Member 142 posts Joined Dec 2008 Location: Boca Raton, FL More info | I can see it. I like the painty-type feeling; the tree in the backrond really pulls the feeling off for me. On the oter hand, I have a thing against cyber-frames. Maybe just a black frame? Unless you like that it adds to the painty feel. I think that if printed, you could put it into a real frame and it would look fantastic. Canon EOS Rebel XS|EF-s 18-55mm IS|EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 |||

Jul 08, 2009 22:46 | #5 I think you pulled it off too!! Wonderful image!! The "cyber frame" is a little over the top for me though. Jul 08, 2009 23:29 | #6 Thanks for the comments. The frame was a filter I was playing with. The flowers are the important part. And I agree Brypan, that printing it with that frame would ruin it. The frame was strictly for digital presentation. Artist tools: Lumix FZ1000 (Canon 60D, 28/2.8, 10-22mm, Tamron 28-300mm VC ALL NOW FOR SALE - REASONABLE OFFER)
