Yeah!

We're starting a 17 day series here tomorrow, I'll start a thread and post some of what I get from that. Starts in Chicago tomorrow with Rock Racing and other top teams.

A friend of mine is over there following the Tour. He is an architec that decided to travel the world. He sold his condo in Chicago. Dropped all his stuff at his parents house, and is off for an indefinate amount of time. He posts a pic now and then. Currently they are of the tour. His blog... http://www.simplerhappier.com/ (external link)

He is a Nikon shooter, but we let him hang out anyway.

Oops, sorry about that. Anyways, I'm geting bored with the galleries on the news websites. The best I've seen is from MSNBC page. Some day I will be there for it in person. Spain looks absoulutely beautiful. I saw some dude with what looked to be a 1D series shooting in the rain.........jealous I am!

Anybody notice the famous "devil guy" in the pic of Astanas time trial pic. Great pics anyways. Tell him to keep them coming.

Since there are no pics here, I guess its okay to comment. Does anyone else think it was lame that Contador went against the team plan knowing the Armstrong was too much the professional to do the same and give chase (especially when it seemed clear that Armstrong was as strong)? I'd expect that from the Columbia team but not Astana and hope JB gave him an earful afterward.

It will get interesting. I see this team imploding big time ever since Horner was ousted from the Tour squad. Lance and Levi were not happy about that. I just don't think Lance or Levi have the legs to battle with Contador. At least I will be able to watch it now that I'm leaving Hawaii tonight. :) Damn Scott do you ever sleep.

travel well bud and no, I don't (at least not when the Tour is on). I agree that while Astana is so deep in talent, it may just work against them in the end. I could see the team split with guys taking sides and working for both guys.

It will work itself out...time grabbing only leads to the team supporting those who follow the rules. If Lance stays strong....he will get the support.

I completely agree with that. Its absolutely one of the sports where the unwritten rules are what matter

I think the team has a plan, and the plan has Contador winning.
Lance is following the plan.

We need pics of the tour!
