Hi all,

I'm properly asking a stupid question, but need some help with a setup.
Currently I have a 40D (to be upgrade), 2x580, but sometimes I also use Bowens lamps.
For sync I currently use the ST-E2, but wants to make it more reliable with radio signals.

What would you recommend? I mean it's a pretty simple setup with max 2-3 lamps, so is there any need for the PlusII and MultiMax, or can I settle with MiniTT! and Flex TT5??

Please help me, as I have very limited knowledge in the functionality and needs when it comes to lighting...

Thanks

Best regards

Kristian Kruse

Plus II will be fine since your lamps aren't ETTL compatible.

But can I then have Plus II for the lamps and then use the Mini/Felx for my camera and flash??

Best regards

I have used the mini with my Plus II and Multi Max and they worked fine, my problem was the distance, I was using it in a D1 basketball arena with the mini mounted on camera and multi max in the rafters, the mini would not fire the strobes from one end of the court, so I returned it. I should also mention that I use PW's for remote camera setups so it is easier with MM's PW II's
