I was just visiting Canons website and looking at the camera lineups . I noticed the 40D is not listed anymore but the 50D is ... ??? , is this probably a webmasters fault for not listing or has Canon dropped the 40D already ??

Well i checked those links and most are old when the 40D came out but i did some web searching and the only pllace i found that still listed the 40D was AMAZON . BestBuy , BHPhoto , and a couple other places show no listing of the 40D . I'm very surprised cause i thought the 40D was revelantly new ?

adorama has refurbished 40D's for $699, cheaper than most used in the buy/sell forums.

40D is a discontinued model, while there are still stocks available in some dealer's warehouses and refurbs it is not one of Canon's current lineup, therfore is not listed on their website. This is pretty common practice for Canon
