XSi/450D Problem

Anyone know what it means when I try to turn my XSi Rebel on and the only thing that happens is the WB/White Balance button has a blue solid LED on and nothing else happens ? I don't have my manual with me and can't find anything on google and searching for blue light etc on here doesn't turn up much results.
