Costa Rica...thus far

Well it's only my second day here..haven't had time to shoot anything interesting.. but I have had intersting experiences...

Here is the explanation of the next two images
"So we were heading to Arenal Volcano when this lady in the Nissan Centra (in the lane coming towards us) ran off the road on one side, and lost control and came across our side. Our driver was amazing. He hit the brakes just when he should, and he ended up hitting the back of her car. Her car was totaled, but our car had the big metal bar in the front, and had little damage. "

I had to get my leg xrayed..but It's fine!

we then ran into a three toed sloth...

I'll be going out to get some GOOD wildlife photos in the next few days , but i thought it'd be interesting to share my trip thus far.

Indeed it could have! The way it works here is dumb. You can't move the car until the transit police show up. they need to access who's fault it is. We sat there for over an hour. that's the average police response time. pretty ****ty. I can't imagine what would've happened if someone really got hurt!
