I'm sure that I'm not the only person who still shoots film these days. I know there are other forums that are specific to this but it doesn't mean we can't have our own little thread for film.

So post as many shots as you want and try to tell us the camera and the film used.

Here's a couple of mine for a start.

Both are shot with my Mamiya C330 and Portra 400NC

My stuff is all crud, but I'll play:

1. Took this one about 34 years ago with an Oly OM-1 with 50mm f/1.4. Kodak slide film of some sort (home developed, so probably Ektachrome).

IMAGE: http://bobanderson.smugmug.com/Other/Photos-for-posting-on-POTN/slideIMG029-copy/988611204_sLat9-L.jpg

2. This one's from June 1995, again with an OM-1 and 50mm f/1.4. Fuji G-200? film.

IMAGE: http://bobanderson.smugmug.com/photos/385459246_HDfQT-L.jpg

3. And a more recent one from 2004. Canon Elan II with 28-105 f/3.5-4.5 II USM using Fuji Reala.

Once I can get access to a darkroom I'll get some more pics up. Cost to get film developed now is really high.

I don't think he realized he had a little girl. NOT A BOY.

Gotta love that old Tri-X. They've been using the same emulsion since the start and it still looks just as good.

Lol, Cute. Parents are delusional sometimes...

I feel that way too. But film can also be a lot more frustrating than digital.

All of my color stuff was just Kodak Max 400. It was cheap and I never new of anything else to try.

And all on Program mode with my old Minolta Maxxum 7000i.

There is a customer at the store I work at who is actually a pretty brilliant photographer and he took most of his best pictures with Kodak Gold. Which isn't exactly the most professional of films. But hey... it worked for him.

Very nice shots guys! What do you use to scan them?

Butteryfly shot was done with Minolta X9 (kit lens) and EOS ELAN with my Sigma 24-60 f/2.8 for the sunflowers. Scanned with my Epson Photo RX595 multi.
