Thanks. I was really suspicious anyway, but very curious about them.

A couple more on Portra 400 from the bike ride out to the Albufera's flooded rice fields. I did about 100km across there today and have discovered a bunch of new places to go back when I have some more Portra and I feel like giving my legs hell again ...

I bought an EF 40mm f2.8 lens for my Elan 7 and tested it out on my friend's son yesterday. These were shot at f2.8 on HP5 rated at 800.

Thanks. Preston is a little ham lol. As soon as he sees the camera he smiles and says cheese.

So many things to look at in this photo. It's like being there.

I got my first roll of Kodak Pro Image 100 back from the developer today. This is the first image I've scanned from the roll, but so far I like the colors. The negatives dried completely flat which makes them easier to scan. I'm definitely going to shoot the rest of the rolls I have left and possibly order more. This was taken with my Contax G1.

I tried to shoot the same shot in landscape, but it's a bit blurry. This camera is native in portrait orientation, so holding it sideways on the pool table was a crapshoot, lol.

The Pro Image looks great! I shot one roll, but it was mixed in with Portra 400.....and I can't figure out which is which..! Haha.

Love the pool table shot as well, really nice look to the colour.

Also looks like the G1, and ProImage are working out nicely.

A friend got me some packs of Gold 200 for Christmas, and I shot the first two rolls last week with the scans coming back yesterday. I'm still really enjoying lab scans, and actually really happy with the look of these. Haven't touched them from the Lab scan.

I've not had much luck with gold, but I think I'm falling in love with Portra 800 in 120...! I think I should sell my GA and get a Mamiya 645.

From the same roll as the last shot.

The colors look really good. I'm starting to see more people shooting Portra 800. I need to buy some in 35mm and 120 and give it a try. I just took my Mamiya M645 out this afternoon to see if it would work in the cold since I fixed it and everything seemed to function. I'll know for sure once I develop the film.

With results like that, I can see why you're developing a thing for Portra 800. The Gold was a gift and I'm happy to have some extra rolls to use - and really happy with the results actually. Two rolls left.

I like the GA, but the autofocus can be annoying at times. It also won't let you shoot wide open (f4) as often as I would like.

Your results look better than when I shot gold!

I can only be happy with how my two rolls came out.

A couple more urban frames ... the first one reads 'I love you egghead' except egg (huevo) has been spelled ... well, incorrectly; the second was all about that Virgin Mary cushion.
