Good catch! Pun intended. When I was a kid in Michigan my Dad would go ice fishing, my brother and I would skate on the lake or pond.

Alley graffiti, Iowa City, Iowa.

Bronica S2, #Kodak Tmax 100 film developed in #Ilford ID-11 (first time using it). This was a tripod shot, 2 seconds at f8 in fading light.

Went into the studio with a friend to practice on his Mamiya RB6x7 and tried a roll of Rollei Retro 400s. Overall I think I like the look of this film I'll have to buy a couple more rolls to try outside too.

My friend, also gotta practice my lighting technique more. Gonna use my digital camera for a light meter since my phone's camera is broken and I don't think was giving me accurate readings. The unedited versions all have blown highlights.

I e really been enjoying the Pentax PC35af lately. It’s nice having a point and shoot film camera that I don’t have to think about and I can just stick in my pocket. I’ll be shooting with the Pentax 35af-m this week.

Just got everything together. learning. Using Negative Lab Pro and LR. So far it has not been too difficult. leveled both the light pad (Kodak brand) and camera. could be wee bit better.
Using black construction paper mask with a cutout for one 35mm image, plus just a little more. Also used a remote shutter control.
Color film. film held by a Lomo 35 mask.

DSLR is a D700 with the old 28-105 that has macro capability.
one of the first results.

I am oh, 75 to 85% happy with it. heck maybe 100%, lol. Developed at a wolf photo.
Judging from the grass and trees, its winter-ish
minimal adjustments made in Neg. Lab Pro/LR.

critiques, advice welcomed
Nest time, I will bump the iso up a bit, stop down the lens. with the remote and mirror lockup? I should be able to use a lower shutter speed. its on a tripod of course lol.

Some more from my practice rolls. This time with Kodak Gold, the more I look at it the less I like Gold for indoor use. I do like the shadow play on the second arrangement I'll have to practice more with that but I think next time I'll shoot it in black and white.

Nice bit of processing, Brit - Leica handled at top performance for that.

Lots of neat stuff in Denison. Traveler's Hotel is one of my favorite buildings.
Oddly, I've never gone to downtown Sherman. I'm sure it has it's share of photo ops also.
