On past Saturday it was very busy day. I went to political rally in Toronto and by the same time some naked activists were riding bikes.
I decided to take nothing, but my rangefinders and take it on film.
Later I was at horse race event locally with my family and I was testing new to me EOS 3 with 50L on it.
Ended up with seven b/w films to develop.

Amazing how rest of the gang is after latest Canonikon DSLR gear, while this EOS 3 is just right.
Eye controlled AF camera for under $200 price. Takes all of my Canon L glass.
It just amazing feeling. Best possible AF, all of my DSLRs' functionality, weather sealing, yet, as cheap as I could only imagine. It came in very good condition too.

With 50L.

Yep. 100% agree. It feels very refreshing to divest yourself of the constant need to upgrade, The EOS 3 (or any decent early 2000s pro or semi-pro SLR) is a brilliant camera, and can take advantage of everything Canon has done in lens development ever since.

Sure, you're giving up the ability to print very large, and the film shots will be noticeably grainier, but on the list of things that affect the subjective quality of a photograph, those things are very far down.

I haven't print it big yet, from those cameras, but shouldn't be a problem, I guess.
I printed large from Y124G_Mat and it was very good in details.

love my EOS-3, sold mine for $150 with BP-E1 only to buy another one shortly after for $250. I like having the BP-E1 so that I can use regular AA batteries

if want to have fun in the street, I use my EOS-3 + 135L

Interesting. I like EOS 3 for reportage and portraits. But I can't use (D)SLR anymore for the street, too big and heavy. And 135 is way too long for me, I use 35mm on 35mm for it.
Scanned and PP some recent this night. Will show here later how the 35/35 street looks like in the summer :D
Can't post here some previous funny Flickr stuff from World Naked Bike ride for obvious reason.
