You should have added quadruplets a vote Sky (hee hee). :p

Hey! The more babies you guys vote for, the less time I'll have to take pictures AND waste, I mean...spend, time with you lovely people. :p ;)

Like the new title by the way.

Stealthy is going to be so mad you started a poll without him :D

Yikes ... is he the father or something? :o

Anyway ... 9 months? What kinda dumb idea is that? Its a long time to ponder. Like when some newbie posts a 'wot lens, 100-400mm IS L or 10-22mm?' type question and then they have 9 months of feedback to mull things over before they can buy. Most will have bought and sold and quit the hobby by then. Isn't it the same with kids? Seems a great idea at the start and then time drips by, gets boring waiting and then, truth be told, you really wanna head off and take up power boat racing instead.

I'm rather amused that they "We want some beer during the wait (or any other alcoholic beverage)" is now leading in the poll :D

Tell me about it...people are asking if we have any names yet or if we've decided on how we're going to decorate the nursery. HELLO! I'm only 6 weeks into a 40 week term! I think I have time. So glad I'm not an elephant...their gestation period is 22 MONTHS!

Why are you surprised?
I mean, I had to give all the guys a choice in the poll that they'd truly care about!

I still find the differences between American English and British English oddly amusing. To me, a nursery is either a school for children younger than 5, or a kind of garden centre which specialises in baby plants, so to "decorate the nursery" means that you and Mr.Chrissy might be off with ladders, paint and brushes to re-vamp the local kindergarten sometime soon! How kind...especially as you're pregnant!!!

We call garden centers specialized in baby plants nurseries too. School for kids under 5 here are either daycare or preschool. It is interesting how words differ in meaning, and spelling for that matter! :)

It is interesting....
And being a Brit, teaching English in Japan (the almost fifty-something State of America) it can be a real issue for me because I try to teach "standard English" because it approximates more closely to how English is used worldwide, while I'm sad-to-say, Americans who come here mostly try to teach American English, for various reasons - none of which help the students....
:(

Hey Dave....;)

Bad news for Chrissy, I have a 22yo son too. So now she needs to have twins. And I think it will be twins...I'm usually right about these things. Not sure on the sexes, but I am predicting two.

I had a dream that my sister was pregnant, called her the next day to tell her my weird pregnancy dream. She was doing a test the next day, and sure enough, she was!

I apologize in advance for my accuracy. Two is twice the fun.

Three rules:
1. Feed them.
2. Keep them reasonably clean.
(If it doesn't cause a serious rash, it's not a problem.)
3. Love them.

(But there's two.;) )

Satan shudders, and says, "Oh ----, she's awake!"

"Does the POTN collective want a boy or a girl?" Like the "POTN collective (whatever the hell THAT is) has any say in the matter! I'm sure Chrissy's husband (and probably Chrissy herself) would like us all to stay out of her reproductive affairs.

I just hope she has a healthy and happy baby. Its sex, now decided, was completely up to her husband (we presume).

And Chrissy, keep away from Skygod. He would send you to the operating theatre rather than the delivery room. And whatever color you choose to paint your nursery, he would say it's the wrong colour!

Just because I have better taste than you Kendoway......there's no need for talk like that! Honestly, my English classes are sort-after in the region (and long may it stay that way!!!) because I encourage my students to develop English with a Japanese accent, rather than forcing them to become little-Brits (or little-Americans).
So there!!!!!!
