This is a toughie...but because of her skin color, I really like the first photo. She seems kind of isolated in the second conversion, like she doesn't belong there or something.

honestly, i'd post up an inbetween. try a 50-60 percent opacity of the black and white. see if the warmer tones don't help out. i love the black and white version for the isolation. i just think it needs a slight warmth.

another vote for 1, the sepia compliments her skin tone, although I liked clays idea of 50% each at least as another choice.

I agree the toes being chopped off is a distraction.

#1 because the skin and b/g unify the shot rather well. and, the "toes" thing has already been mentioned, so i wont say anything there.
