This Green Heron paid a visit to the wetlands behind my house yesterday and posed for me for a short time.

I agree about #2 and the reflection.

I know you didn't specify C&C (comments and critique) but did you use some sort of noise reduction software on these images? They feathers seem to lack detail especially in the profile image. I know the extender softens images some...was this that caused what I'm seeing?
