....okay, this thing has me stumped. I shot all day yesterday and life was good. I had a 8 gig CF card and a 8 gig sdhc card in, I have custom fn 8 set to "1" ( iso/remaining shots ), which is where I always have it set. I shot 1400 files, which of course more than filled one card.

For some reason, now it shows that I have only 121 remaining shots with a 8 gig card, which is obviously wrong, should be like 700 or so RAW. Even if I put a 2 gig card in it, it still shows 121 remaining. I've formatted all the cards in camera...no change. Formatted a card in the PC....no change.

What in the world am I overlooking ? I can set it from anything from RAW+JPG down to small....still shows 121 remaining.

I'm puzzled.....thanks to anybody who can help me solve this riddle !

(On my 1D Classic) I get this when the folder hits it limit so my remaning shots can goto 0 but have like 1.5gb free.

Create a new folder and carry on shooting.

LOL! I had to find out the hard way during a photo walk. Removed battery, tried a new memory card, reset it and still nothing till I looked at my rear screen. No harm done. :)
