NZ National Schools Karting and the Mk3 couldn't hack it

The weather at this years National Schools Karting Championship was awful. Full credit to the kids out there in rotten weather and freezing rain - total dedication.

Internesting bit for me was that the Mk3 was having trouble with the bland overcast light. Pictures were dull and flat. The 50D on the other hand, which I normally have to knock down a stop of two to get the whites in, was the camera to have.

I tried PP the colours on the MK3 images but ened up with a bunch of over processed saturated juck. Personally I blame the operator :-)

I always like the overcast racing days because of the clear visors. That way you can see their eyes as they go through a corner.

Were all these from the 50d? 2 and 5 seem to have colors that pop out at me, but that just might be the helmets that helped.

1 and 6 are the MK3 the rest are the 50D - Sorry CS2 has stripped the IPTC and EIF out of the images ....
