Just out of curiosity- When you're selling a lens, does anyone take a photo that's been PP'd and all and use it for a sample? Some of the ones I look at are a bit suspect.

I shoot in RAW, so all of my diplay ready shots have been processed. If a seller asks, I will e-mail them sample RAW shots from the lens. Then they can evaluate it with their own processing.

I try to be as honest as I can in my representation of anything I am selling.

Problem with that is the buyer might get an entirely different result with the lens on his camera. Different models of camera will render the image differently, even if it's an un-processed RAW. Although I've never done it, I image my D60, 20D and 40D will give different results with the same lens shot with the same settings in the same light, etc., etc.
