Audio notes in OSX

i noticed that itunes doesn't import my audio notations attached to photos (or if it is, i can't find 'em)... I *can* import them through the canon software. They show up as separate WAV files with the same name as the photo.

Does anyone know any tricks to pull these files off the card using Mac OSX?

They don't show up as separate files in "Image Capture" but I'm using the camera directly connected to the computer. I've noticed that when I use a card reader, the card shows up as a volume on the desktop (but not when it's in the camera), so maybe then they'd show up. But I don't have my own card reader yet... any idea?
