The Great Circus Parade returned to Milwaukee last Sunday after an absence of six years. The parade is a Milwaukee tradition but hadn't be held for the past 6 years because of a lack of funding. I made it a point to go, even enduring a crowd of over 500,000, because of the uncertainty about the parade's future.
Although it wasn't ideal photographic conditions there were still tons of opportunities. Here are a few of the shots I took....
Ernest Borgnine made his usual appearance....he's been a fixture in the parade since the 1970's and was extremely energetic at 92 years old. Unfortunately I couldn't get a good shot of him.
