brand new from The Imaging World's ebay store. Canon authorized retailer.

$1519 - $121 bing coupon - $100 ebay coupon = $1298

I just received it and I can't wait to take some pics. I just hope it does not need to be sent back to Canon for calibration, like lots of stories I have been hearing.

I think if you transact enough on ebay, they send you a coupon code to use for purchases.

the ebay coupon (8%, max $100 off) was sent out last month and i used it on the last day.

the bing 8% coupon is available all the time

I just took it out the box and it's a "UX" date code which means it was made this year

Can anyone tell me if they are sharp enough for 100% crops or do I need to send it in for calibration?
