Bridge.... thumbnails....

With bridge I have to wait until it builds the thumbnails every time I open a file...this can take several minutes with 5dmk2 raw files...

(Windows is nice because it writes a little thumbs file so it dosent have to take so much time to re-create all the thumbs in a file)

anyway to fix this in bridge?

Bridge caches thumbnails. You can tell it to keep the thumbnails in a central database, and there's an "export cache to folders" option that will put a copy of the thumbnails in a single file in the same directory of the images. This is useful if your cache gets too large as it drops the thumbnails out of the central database.

CS4 Bridge is a lot faster than CS3, as it reads the embedded thumbnails and shows them, then processes its own thumbnails from the RAW files.
