Ha!, I loathe that he is local here... I see his ugly-ass, un-shaven mug on TV commercials here all the time. I always wondered about him and his tendencies, since John Madden seems so infatuated with his ass and his "boyhood" touch football qualities...

LOL

I can't wait for this season to start though... watch all the poor Viking fans slit their wrists by week 5.

Hmmm, maybe that explains why so many of the Nancy boys from the French Quarter are buying second homes on the coast. Yeah, the Vike fans are probably sharpening their razors in anticipation of what may come. BTW, are you a Saints fan? They're looking pretty good so far, maybe for once it will spill over into the regular season.

This may sound weird, but I think Brett looks really stupid in a Vikings helmet. He'll look even worse when he's throwing INTs in the regular season while wearing a Vikings helmet.

Yes, if you live on the Gulf Coast, it is MANDATORY that you must be a Saints fan! (I actually don't like the Saints, but as I said, I must - besides its a bit rough going to their games and then rooting against them). I bet the Saints do what they always do... lost the first 4 games, win a couple here and there and then end up in an impossible struggle for a wildcard spot.

I'm actually an old-time fan of the Raiders, Redskins and Bears (yeah, I know...)

I am a die hard Cowboy fan and must admit that manyor possibly even most Cowboy fans are fanatic beyond reason.

Here is how i look at the scoreboard problem...

1) this Stadium is over the top crazy beautiful and fancy. Its the crown Jewel in the Jerry Jones hat. Spend a couple of DAMN MILL and fix it right. Instead of making your organization the JOKE of the NFL over the top crazy rich owners!

2) THEN, go after some money (if you think you really need to) from the NFL cuz THE COWBOYS placed it BEYOND league requirements, AND the league SIGNED OFF ON IT!

3)the players shouldnt have to suffer cuz of this tho, and the play will suffer, anytime there is a "do over" it taints the game IMHO...

anyway, I logged on to check on the draft day again... I am in the 2nd league, what day is our draft. I cant find it on here...too many pages and posts...lol

Damn first pick again. I never do well when I have the first pick. Last year I had the first pick in two leagues. Took LT in both and boy O boy did that backfire. Didn't perform good but I couldn't just trade away my number one pick for garbage.

Try picking a Defensive Team first. At least they'll be there every week, there will always be 11 guys on the field. :)

Not like Brady last year for many first-pickers.

I just logged into the draftroom and tried to set my queue, but it will only let me put 14 players into that queue. Anyone know why we are limited?

I am shooting a real football game (soccer in the US) this evening that should be over at 9 PM, after the drive home I might miss the first few minutes of the draft so I wanted to prepare my auto pick list now, just in case...

News: ArmChairGenerals = SCREWED

Roy Williams has a broken collar-bone and ArmChairGenerals only has one WR on his bench (Brian Robiskie) and that guy may not be starting!

Time to hit the FA wire; Williams won't be back until week #4 at earliest and possibly week #6 or #7 if he's unlucky.

Alternate Fantasy implications: Sam Hurd's value just went up (and maybe Miles Austin, though Hurd has been beating him regularly in camp). Also, Martellus Bennett is now going to be a greater threat, as they will probably increase the % of plays from the 2TE set to 65-70%. Felix Jones may get more touches in the passing game too. Life is looking really good for the Woodland Christmas Critters. :D
