Derek, it looks like the battle in the NFC East is getting interesting to say the least. It may come down to the last week, and your Birds are right smack in the middle of it.

We're doing pretty good for sleep. Getting used to less, at least!

I'm pretty sure that the final week Eagles-Cowboys game is going to have some playoff implications. Starting to get exciting, to say the least!

Unbelievable! Ryan Grant can't get more than 4 points so I tie in League 1!

And who gets all the attention, Jermichael Finley, who scores 19 points and I lose by 2 in League 2!

BTW in League 2 I have scored the second most points behind Dream Crushers (the team to beat me by two this week and won't be getting an invite next year! ) and am 4 games behind, tied for the third WORST record in the League. How is that even remotely possible?!?!?!?!

BTW folks, this week coming up is the last week before the playoffs!

In League 1 it appears that Something Witty, Durty South, and Big Bird will win their respective divisions, but the wild card is still down to two, -MasterChief- and AirChairGenerals with -MasterChief- holding the tie breaker for a head to head win. Tom has a chance to not finish in the cellar this year too!

In League 2 things are not so simple. Only Black Hawks has claimed a division playoff spot. The other two divisions are up for grabs with two teams tied at the top. The wildcard is also tight, with 3 teams having the potential. Looks like Mom2Twinz needs a win and a loss by Mouth of the South to make it in, while Dreamcrusher has at least a wildcard spot wrapped up.

Should be a great final week!

alas, Mark Clayton only had a measly point last night. good win Derek and congrats on winning the division!

My Black Hawks team is more lucky than good this year. I hope I won't flame out in the playoff.
By the way, do we win anything or just bragging rights? Free posts on the forum?

Thanks! Quite an exciting matchup! I was cheering when the GB DB got those two pass interference calls against Clayton in the end zone.

I've got the stuff to make the trophy for League 2 sitting on my workbench at home. Now I just need a few hours to complete it... Man I wish I could buy time!!

How do we determine Playoff contenders? Winners of each division and a wildcard? Or top four records?

I won't get in either way, at best, I'll place 5th overall, missing the top four by one, and if by wildcard, I'll miss it by two, as a division winner in league 2 will have the same record as me, while I will place third in my division. Go figure...

Winners of each division and then the next best record is the wildcard.

1 vs. 4, 2 vs. 3 for the first round.

I just went back and read the thread from our first year. Pretty short, only 16 pages, but it was interesting to see what went on. I had to bring this up though, sorry Tom!

At least we have won a playoff game in the last 10 years. The local radio station keeps count of the number of days since the 'boys last won a playoff game. Up over 4000 days now.

I think that count will keep going up! They hit 5000 days in September 2010 of they don't pull something out this year.
