Taken on Sebago Lake in Maine. The small island upon which the eagles nested is cordoned off per the Maine Department of Fisheries and Wildlife, as it should be, however the nest and immediate surroundings are fairly visible to those with a kayak or other small, non powered craft. These were obtained from a kayak.

One question I have for the more experienced photographers : are these photos oversaturated?

Thank you for looking and/or responding.

Shooting from a kayak? I was nervous enough shooting loons from a canoe.

Just a bit too blue on the sky which can be toned down. Other than that, great pictures.

The skies look a tad blue, but no real indication of over saturation on the rest of the colours. Did you use a polarizer?

Thank you for the response. I had a dry bag at the ready and the water was reasonably calm.

I did not use a polarizer, as the sky was a nice blue to begin with, however I did bump the saturation in DPP by +2, which in retrospect was probably too much.

Thank you for the feedback.

Nicely done! I have enough trouble with a tripod on land, much less shooting from a kayak!

Thank you. It's not as bad as you might think, using IS and AI servo (and moderately calm water conditions).
