My first attempt. C&C welcome. Had to try out the ND filter on the trip.

Unfortunately - I slipped on the rocks after taking the picture and fell into the water, and onto my camera. smashed the filter, lens, and flooded the camera, releasing the all important magic smoke.

Thankfully trip insurance will cover the cam, and a new one will be on it's way soon.

Apt name for the falls - I like the pic too!

Tough luck on the gear though, hope you are soon fixed up again.

well, the good news is that the trip insurance will cover the cam & gear - save for $200 deduct. so I will be back into it again - just trying to decide now between replacement - or moving to a used 40D

Go for the 40D. You won't regret it!

A off-topic question: what trip insurance provides this kind of coverage? Maybe I should consider buying it, too. :)

when I bought the cam, I scheduled a specific rider for the gear. $16/year for every $1000 of coverage.
