This past Saturday, I lost one of the rubber port covers (the one that covers the PC port) on my 1D MkIII. Not sure how it came off, but when I got home from the wedding, it was missing... lol.

Anyway, I searched all over and couldn't find anything. But I came across the Canon Parts number (732) 521-7230. I gave them a call, and 3 minutes later a new cover is on order. The service was awesome and quick!

Oh... and the part after shipping & tax was $8.78...

Anyway, just posting to give Canon a big thumbs up on the quick and friendly service. ;)

Thanks for the number man. I just called it and placed an order- it was quick and painless and I didn't even have any parts numbers. Kudos to Canon!

I hope you ordered more than one, they are so cheap in price compared to shipping, I think I order several as I have had them fall off my MKIII as well
