Hi everyone,

I have been uploading full resolution images to flickr. Now I am trying to figure out why all of my photo's that I post on here are 4x6 size. Has any one used their mobile me gallery instead? Is there anyway to use that instead of flickr? Are there any other free accounts that will allow you to post larger images?

Thanks!

Photos posted on here is for discussion mostly and not storage. The owner of this website pay for everything out of his own pocket, so space is at a premium thus the restriction on amount and size of images.
I have been using Flickr for many years now and is satisfied with their service.
There are many websites that does photo storage, if any is free I do not know.
Best will be to Google for the sites and then read the terms of each site.
I do no know -Mobile Me- at all.
If you are discussing one of your photos and want people to view the full size just add a link.
Why would you want to upload full size images??? Not everyone has fast internet speeds and will avoid pages that is to big.

Which link are you using to post on here?

Click on the "all sizes" magnifying glass above your picture and you should get a choice of photo sizes from small to full size. Once you have clicked on the size you want scroll down to get the URL. Copy that and paste it between <- those and it should display at the size you chose.

Just a note that this forum has a 1024x768 size limit for posting. That should be one of your choices for sizes generally and is good for general viewing. If you want someone to view larger; provide a link.

That is totally the information I was searching for!!! I did not realize that flickr had the magnifying glass. I was clicking and posting from the 4x6 version. I certainly don't want a humongous file posted, and find those images in which I must scroll through to see annoying. Much thanks for solving such a simple annoyance for me.

Goshawk, appreciate your input. Mobileme is a .mac site in which we store some of our photo's. I only use flickr so I can upload select photo's here. As I said above, not looking to bog down someone's internet, just want a little bigger photo to examine. The size I had been posting is 500x300. Anyway, thanks to both of you for your help!
