Just wondering if anyone is considering a move or a stay with the Canon 60D around the corner and the Nikon 300S. I know its a broad yet sensitive question, but with all the gear heads here, I know things are already in motion for some.

Sticking with Canon... but will be waiting to see if used 50D or 5D drops in price. :)

If I was starting out it would be an extremely difficult choice. I think with budget being a concern I would probably still have to go Canon.

I'll likely pick up the D300s as a back up. Had the D300 and a great camera but given it's due replacement I sold it before SH prices dropped too much and picked up a SH D90 short term. Another very nice camera, but it ain't a D300 in feel or usability. The 's' should enhance enough to make the switch back worth it. Otherwise super happy with the D700 as main body. Will likely relegate that to back up in 18 months or so rather than sell, but who knows. The D800 is rumoured to have a 24mp sensor so could be a good replacement.

I have a 5DMKII, so the Canon list is full for now...;)

Gonna stick with Canon. Next body will likely be a 5DMkII or 1DMKIII.

With all the $$ that I have invested over time in my Canon glass, I will stay with Canon. In my opinion, even though Nikon manufactures some pretty good camera bodies in comparison, I remain steadfast that Canon produces superior lenses vs Nikkor. After I exhaust my spending and fulfill my arsenal of lenses, I will eventually venture up to buying an updated Canon camera body in the not to distant future.

When Nikon starts using the EF mount, then I might buy one. ;)

I'm ready for some new lenses from Canon though, namely:
16-35 mkIII (why not :p ).
24-70 IS (or mkII)
70-200 2.8L IS mkII

But this is the camera part of the forum. :)

I'm happy with the 5Dmkii/5D combo fa shure. :D

I may or may not go with a 50D in a year or so. Simply because of the microadjust feature and only if the prices fall to my liking.

Ain't nothin but a thing.

I'm sticking with Canon but I won't be able to afford a 'new' model for a while

I'm busy trying to get good with my 5D. Another camera body would just distract me from that goal. ;)

Unless Nikon decides to release a full lineup of pro primes, I'm good where I am. :)
