My first time attending a meetup group. AJ is very sweet and easy to work with.
Honest C & C is welcome.

Overall, I think this is a nice image. The DOF and exposure are great and the pose is pretty nice. There is just something about the eyes that looks unnatural to me. I'm not sure if it's the makeup or if you did any PP, but the pupils and the whites of the eyes look slightly off. I would also consider cloning out the bright spot above her left eye.

Yes I agree it is a nice image, but the eyes..they look almost like they were drawn/painted on.

I'll tell you straight... she is a beauty. But... the photo is slightly scary and grotesque.
The bad

1. Smile is little too wide
2. Red eye effect (look closer)
3. Not so well retouched eyes.

the good

1. Nice skin light
2. nice model
3. Great learning experience.

It looks like a gaussian blur was used to smooth the skin, maybe reduce the opacity of the layer you did that on. Also something is definitely off with the eyes, the whites are way too white and look over sharpened. Can you post the original non edited version?

She is definitely a very pretty model and I think the photo has a lot of potential.

Thanks guys.
The eyes need some work for sure. Any suggestions? I have PSE 6.

Any chance you'd post the original un-retouched photo?

Thanks for point them out. Here is the before and after (2nd edition). I had a hard time clean up the blood shot, as you can tell, there are some leftovers and if I bump up the layer, it will look very fake and still has those scary marks. Any tips???
Again, C&C is much appreciated.
