SO, was ALL the beautiful "blurring" done in-camera? It looks as though some mayhave been in PP (lower left corner, edge of rock)

This is GORGEOUS either way!!! And I even like the water portion of picture without the bank(shoreline) at all!!! NICE!!!

Only PP done was boosting saturation/contrast and colors - all the water blur was in camera... I was knee deep barefoot in the river trying to keep the tripod secure to get this right! thanks!

I love the idea, but I'm not sure if the crop works for me. Given the ethereal nature of the water captured by the long exposure, the crispness of the rock is a great counterpoint, but the far bank of the river seems to take up too much space.

I tend to agree.its a beautiful photo, the rock is a fabulous subject for focal attention.

Tried a crop, but the only one that gave me the least amount of background was a square crop?

nice shot, what type of lens filters did you use?


Canon 40D,24-70 2.8L,Tamron 10-24, 430ex 2,580 ex 2, Photomatix 3, Photoshop Elements 7, and Now Photoshop CS4:lol:

17-40 f4.0L with Moose filter (circular polarizer with warming filter)...
