On a separate topic - do you guys think this 1DII looks like a good prospect at £635 or would you stay clear? Certainly looks like it has had some hard hours put on it. Apart from the explained scratches the hotshoe looks worn, so does the shutter button surround and is has ingrained dirt all over the grip. Still £635 for a 1d II? https://photography-on-the.net …php?t=741048&highlight=uk Knowing the build quality of the 1D bodies, I'd say that damage was purely cosmetic. If you want a camera to do a job (and do it well), it seems to be a good deal. If you just want to pose with it, then probably not..

I highly recommend it especially the early morning Launch at 6:00am and the Night Glow at around 9:30pm.

I'll have another look at their website. I really want to see the dawn with some balloons all firing up into the air. Especially against a vivid blue sky Anke

Well it's a Compac Presario F700 with a AMD Athlon 64 x2 dual core processor TK-53 1.7ghz 2gig of ram and 17 inch wide screen. So did i get a good deal? it's one of those spur of the moment things that you later regret or find you've got a good deal.

Took me five attempts of driving past a sign to read it all, black on flouro pink isn't a great roadside combination. Would like to go if I weren't up north at a wedding. 5D | 40D | Σ24 f1.8 | 50 f1.8 II | 85 f1.8 | 70-200 F4L | 540EZ x2 | Nissin Di622
