whilst Dungerness sounds great, what are the rail connections like? Would you guys not prefer to be able to go somewhere where you can leave the car at home and have a beer instead!?
Obviously not a problem for LL in this case ;)

Trains are all to Ashford and it's a crap bus trip (about 1 hour) from there. You can also get trains from Brighton/Hastings area to Rye which is about a 15 min bust trip from here.

Local B&B will set you back £25.

Last thing to consider is the date. Many amongst us work weekends.

I actually said it was a negligible amount going out the back. And yes, shoot through umbrella's do have the same problem, in fact it's worse. ;)

Sorry, i was being a bit argumentative there wasn't I?!

Is there going to be a ring at the next meet? Not sure it'd be fair, as i'd have to fight well above my weight there!

Looks like we shall have to pay them a visit! :D

Both me and my other half are fans of French cuisine - my grandfather was French and in the restaurant business as well.

Am I ok to come along and show my face as well?

Am happy to give any one that needs it a lift from sunny Tunny as well.

I could probably also host a BBQ if need be - we have communal gardens around us and people quite often have BBQs here. So as long as you're ok with a few neighbours dropping by as well :p. Not great for photo opportunites though! So it's there as a back up.:D

Am on hols for 1 week from next Sat (29th).

Slow for me... twisted my ankle yesterday and can hardly walk . deciding which lens to hire for the Donna Nook trip is the toughest part of my day!

Not here. I've been at a BBQ all afternoon, stuffing myself with greasy meat.

Off out to the pub in a bit...

Sorry to hear that, Adam, hope its ok for the trip, I'm still jealous of you both though, I've been stuck asleep all day and missed the nice day.
