I had vision of Chris running amok, throwing sugar cubes at people.

LOL - that's quite a mental image :)

It would've been carnage! ;) :D

I don't now how eBay do it but the e-mail they send when you've been outbid both angers and excites and makes you bid more and more. Dangerous thing :D

It's not as maddening as the invoice email you get from iTunes just after you've bought something on impulse...

I have been very lax, but here are a few more WHF shots:
1.

2.

If anyone is able to suggest a way to fix the contrast issue over the tailin this shoy i would be very grateful. Normal contrast/exposure adjustment doesnt seem to look right.

3. I need to move my watermark on this one.

5. This one was taken whilst the cat was shaking water from its fur - looks like it is body popping lol!

Rob

#3 says your supper

#4 is the money shot though I would crop some off of that righthand side - such dead space detracts from the image overall. Also to me it looks like the primary focus is the tongue so the eyes a just a tad OOF. I wonder if a little selective sharpening would work on that ???

That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans :p

Thanks Adam :D

I was using the 70-200 f/4 IS

Lovely lens, but i am still tying myself in knots as whether to keep or not in favour of a 100-400.

Is the bokeh in shot 4 from the lens? or did you add a bit? VERY nice if its from the lens. What you using for Donna Nook? I'm toying between the 300 2.8, 120-300 2.8, 100-400 or 500L. The 500 is a bit of a beast though for all the lugging around.

Nice set Rob. Both 1 & 3 have me backing away slowly from my monitor.....

I vote keep the 70-200, and just buy the 100-400 as well. Obvious really! :D

The bokeh is straight out of the camera - no PS trickery there ;) I agree that it is a very nice example, especially for an F4 lens.

I think i am going to buy a 100-400 before Donna Nook, although renting a 500L would be very tempting!

Hahaha, the POTN SE standard advice there. If in doubt have both ;)
