Oct 02, 2009 08:53 | #6767 Right anyone know a smugmug customizer or can recommend one.............had a quote from an american company, they are the ones most talked about on the smugmug forums...............they do do some cool sites but they want $150 pr/hr and reckon on 6-10hrs for a full site to include logo design, slideshow, contact form, HTML only pages as needed, layout, design, and telephone support. Considering that you can get all the code for implementing slide shows etc form the SmugMug forums for free, they are having a laugh! I had a go at smug mug before deciding to go with a wordpress based website and i managed to create a respectable looking site complete with slideshow, contact form and comments boxes. Im not a technical whizz when it comes to html - it probably took me about 6hrs- the smug mug help forums are very very useful and well written/supported. If they are charging for the service they should be able to whip something up in 3hrs unless you want something incredibly technical, since all the code will be in templates they already have anyway. Rob, just a note your website link in your sig doesn't work, you missed a "o" out of the linky... www.iesphotography.co.uk

I am looking to go for an all in one package as my current ones are all coming to an end. I am currently with BT and while the broadband service when the computer is plugged into the hub is okay the wireless is crap and I have spent many a happy hour on the phone to them and tried all sorts of jiggery pokey to sort it out. We run sky wireless, get good signal all over the house! The 16th UK South-East "The Cooper Crawley Creche" Thread (All Welcome)

Drop me a pm!! That is another vote for sky so it looks as if I will definitely go witn them. The other advantage is you can get sky anywhere, as we are in rented we will be moving in a year or two and might not be able to get Virgin Adrian
