I should go as the weather is OK but am lacking inspiration. May just go to the pub :)

I'm at Brands in spirit, but in front of the telly as I'm home with my daughter. Taken some photos of her, though feeling the 50mm was just a touch too long for the rooms in my house.

Its a 10-stop light filter apparently, check these threads I found whilst googling.

Link1 (external link) and Link2 (external link)

Certainly cheaper than the £80 regular ones. Time will tell if it works :)

Well at £1.30 it's probably better for that than for welding.

It'll be good for a laugh anyway, and if I ever take up welding I'll have a headstart on the gear :D

Haha!! It's like my own little advert! :D

:lol: now that you mention it :D

Celebrated Mid-Autumn Festival yesterday, took a few pics, but mainly snapshots of people.

Thought of a gif-ad for Pete, although (in my head) this is a much bigger "project" than Mikes so is probably going to take a while.

@Pete is there limit on posting linked gifs to the forum??

I was hoping to be able to go out today with my new 24-105 however it has not arrived yet and so I am sulking somewhat (sold my other lenses so all I have right now is a 50mm 1.8 ). In fact I may be forced to partake in some comfort shopping and order a 580EX II....

A few people over on Talkphotgraphy have been using welding glass, bought from eBay taped to the lens.
For £1.30 it may be fun :)
