I think you might need some Tint adjustment on those. +150 usually works for me.

I think I played around with all the sliders but missed out the tint one, thanks

Have you got your 5d for and how much did you get for you 40d? I ideally I would like to hang onto it as a backup and to save changing lenses but I think that will be too extravagent. I need to go out with Chris and start selling pictures. Going out with you hasn't rubbed off onto me

Picking it up tomorrow..........as the Royal Mail has sh.i.t itself, got £400 for the 40D you might get a little more on the bay but didn't want the hassle of selling on there......

Just trying to find a reasonably priced 17-40L that I can pick up

Edit. for the record I have never rubbed Adrian;)

Had a call from the framers/gallery yesterday evening, they have the new shop and want a meeting next week to see how many and where I want to put my shots...:D

Adrian - Try using the Levels tool, clicking on the white eyedropper and then clicking on a part of the image which you know should be white, eg. part of the clouds. This always gets my images in the ballpark, unless there was very strong tinted lighting present at the time ... in which case using the Levels method will create a cold colour cast ...

Cheers :)

David

PS. Well done for selling another photo Chris! SHall I fly my heli over the town with some funky flashing lights on it - that should get the town in the news over a UFO SCARE  ;)

You've seen some of my recent shots from Notre Dame inside. Natural. No flash.
I'm not sure about waiting for a dull day, as I'd imagine the light inside will just be filtered down the same ratio from the outside light. All of those shots are not HDR, but I'm sure you could pull something out. Every church I have been in hasn't allowed tripods, though it has generally been a busy period. ;) Don't want too many elderly requiring hip replacements do we?

External Hard Drive Question time.
I need to buy one more, before I head back home, I reallyyy wish I didn't have to, but I'm short at the moment already by 40Gb with full cards beside my laptop waiting to be dumped off.

Where would you buy from, and what would you recommend?
I already have an old 500Gb Maxtor One Touch
And about 15 months ago, bought a 1Tb WD My Book Home Edition (after initially buying a more expensive wireless World Edition, which wouldn't work on my network)

I paid around £130 last year for this 1Tb. Being stingy on money now, I went into PC World just now at lunch, and found a basic 1Tb Seagate for around £89. Didn't end up buying as seemed a bit more than I thought it would be.

So now off look at play.com and anywhere else which may offer some good deals?

try:

I'm still hoping I have made the right decision with the 5D over the 7D?? what dya think............you all know what I shoot, don't need super fast focusing as I doubt a derelict building is likely to move...
