So you defo' thinking of the 7D Adrian??

I'm still hoping I have made the right decision with the 5D over the 7D?? what dya think............you all know what I shoot, don't need super fast focusing as I doubt a derelict building is likely to move...

For your work the 5D is perfect. Nothing is moving in your UE shots, so its just the clean high ISO's that you need.

Donna Nook trip ~ heads up for you.

Just to keep you all fully updated, as mentioned I asked the hotel about their evening meal service.

Not too surprisingly it is served up to 9pm. So please factor that in as appropriate in regard to your/our/all the travelling plans???

Also as noted Adrian in his email to all of us kindly offered to act as co-ordinator as & if required for the sharing of transport et al so please reply to him sooner rather than later so this can now be "put to bed" i.e. so we all know how & if we are going to share and with no last minute surprises.

:)

That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans :p

Just found that thread, thanks Pete. I know Pekka needs to fund the boards but how about ads at the bottom where they aren't so ugly and intrusive?
Does anyone really click them?
Maybe lose the ads if we subscribe financially?

I think full frame definitely makes sense for you, means you can go wider with 17-40 and get more detail.

For me I like airshows, motorsport, wildlife as well as landscape and UE. The 7D has more focus points and frames per second. There are times I have been pleased I have had 6.5

My wife is away at a Pampered Chef evening. She said something about it being involved with dessert.

I sincerely hope she brings some home with her...

I know, annoying isn't it. I paid up just so I could get rid of them. I don't blame Pekka though, even if it gets him an extra 5 quid it has been worth it.

Fingers crossed for you, but if she comes back with chocolate spread around her mouth you'll know you've lost out!! :D

You know that making a donation doesn't get rid of the ads, don't you? Well, I'm sure you do, but just wanted to make sure you don't feel diddled if you continue to see them.

I messed something up, normal service will resume when I get it sorted out.

Donating used to give you the privilege of removing the ad banners. After I donated for the first time the banners disappeared. No biggie.
