Banners have only just appeared for myself. First time in 5 years. Though I've been browsing POTN at work, usually not logged in. Then I was blocked, as some noticed on my facebook status. So a quick login via the IP and it works.

Fingers crossed for you, but if she comes back with chocolate spread around her mouth you'll know you've lost out!! :D

Darn. I've been told about goodies, but none of them seem to have made their way home.

I spent all this time hoping in vain....

Donna Nook trip ~ heads up for you.

Just to keep you all fully updated, as mentioned I asked the hotel about their evening meal service.

Not too surprisingly it is served up to 9pm. So please factor that in as appropriate in regard to your/our/all the travelling plans???

Also as noted Adrian in his email to all of us kindly offered to act as co-ordinator as & if required for the sharing of transport et al so please reply to him sooner rather than later so this can now be "put to bed" i.e. so we all know how & if we are going to share and with no last minute surprises.

:)

Im going to do my best to get the Friday off as well. If i cant, i may have to leave my gear with Adrian and train it up, but i hope it doesn't come to that! I see no reason why i cant have that day or at least a half day off as well.

That would definitely help with missing out on rush hour, especially M25/London on a Friday

Anyone seen the spec of the new 27" imac, ips panel as well, quad core, up to 16 gig ram, 2 TB drive.
Annoyed though, with a 27" monitor, you think there would be loads of space for a 2nd drive :(

Still quite tempted.

Weh heh!!!!!! :D :D

I have won an image competition at an aviation forum I attend ~ got first prize which will be a signed print of a BAe Hawk. This will be signed by the display team pilots themselves, well chuffed I was to see I had won :D

The comp itself was judged by the 2009 display team pilots.

This was my entry (for the record taken at the Jersey International Airdisplay on 10th Sept 2009:-

For sure, Friday night London area exodus is not to be taken lightly :(

We already know Ian & Rich are sharing but leaving late afternoon/early evening. Just need to know what Neal & Peter are planning by way of travelling, not sure about Adam as he is coming back on the Sunday???

The way time flies..........we will be there crawling in seal poo (I hope not ~ agh!!!) and if downwind maybe smelling "fish breath" in no time.

I know, annoying isn't it. I paid up just so I could get rid of them. I don't blame Pekka though, even if it gets him an extra 5 quid it has been worth it.

How did you know and where did you go to pay to get rid of them, I'll gladly do that.
