I think you need to have the 702 for the 704 to work though - looks quite expensive :(

Correct, the 702 is fine for something like a 24-105, but you would need the 704 to go over the lense, be advised it's huge!

even with the 400 on it's baggy

Just picked up a 5DII...........:D

Had an interesting chat with the dealer who was suprised at how few 7D's are selling in contrast to the 5DII which is selling like hot cakes, he has sold 250 of them over the last 4 months alone!!

Hi guys :)

Just wondered if anyone would be interested in a meeting this coming Sunday? The weather looks lovely and the autumn colours are at their prime I would say! :)

Cheers! :D

David

PS. No letter for me either :) Although as a recent graduate which they've invested a lot of money in (for training), I would have been very surprised if they already wanted to get rid of me ;) .... although if they found out how much I go on POTN .... ... *shhh* ;)

I'm a potential for Sunday as well, location dependant.

*PICK YOUR BRAINS*

Afternoon peeps...

I'm hoping you can help me out? I am trying to source a photographer who can cover an event - but I need them to be able to add "there and then" a digital background - I guess it requires a chromakey background too? (for example a tropical beach etc) and then print said images for guests to take home with them at the end of the function...

(the kind of thing they do at theme parks & tourist attractions)

hopefully one of you will point me in the right direction?!

thanks in advance!

Would be nice if the photos didn't make it look like a full kit then. Didn't see any shots that showed it as a lens only cover. Looked like the 704 only had one hand in from the shots while the 702 had 2. Right then, keep looking. That total cost is a touch too expensive for me.

hmmm, I have mobile printing facilities for events.
Never done the chromakey thing, I suppose a green background and some PS actions wouldn't be that hard. Depending on the time scales.

someone on here recently was talking and did some good digital background work, maybe we could put a team together!

I am well and truly open to suggestions fella - if you think you can deliver (and I've no reason to believe otherwise photographically wise!) then please drop me a line and I'll get the department here that's researching it to drop you a line...

I believe the event is in early January...

Thanks for your speedy reply

Looks as though it may be good news for you both then!!

Decided at the last minute to go to Richmond this morning and hopefully there might be some action from the stags. Here are two very quick ones as just got back and going out again.

These two I heard and thought great, got so close I ended using my Tamrac 90, really going at it oblivious to me then some idiot's dog scared them off argghh

Thought that was it but moved location ( official stalker of one of the stags from the above fight) and couldn't believe my luck with these two, they calmly walked out of the wood into the sunshine making sure the sun was behind me and then the bell went . Perfect models could not have asked for more, decent iso and shutter speed:D:D

Colours were quite good ar Richmond will post a couple later if you decide to go there Sunday. Can't do either Sunday or Monday I am afraid
